Due to the pandemic caused by COVID 19, education in the Philippines has been affected.
Instead of opening on the first week of June the school year 2020-2021 will open on the last day of August.
Because of this there will be a limited time for the pupils to study all the competencies in the curriculum guide this is why Most Essential Learning Competencies or MELCS are made.
Here are the MELCS for Grade 1 pupils.
