Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth or also known as SALN is one of the the thing that a government employee like teachers should prepare every end of the year. SALN form will show you what are the assets or belongings of one person. This includes gadgets, land property, houses and savings while liabilities are those are loans or debts that the person applied for. When the liabilities is subtracted to the assets the result will be the net worth of the employee.
Why do we need to file SALN?
This is because submission of a SALN is required by law under Article XI Section 17 of the 1987 Constitution and Section 8 of Republic Act No. 6713, the “Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.”
